Streaming WASP3D overlays into OBS works almost the same as vMix. OBS also supports NDI, SDI (key + fill), or browser sources, depending on how you output graphics from WASP3D.
This is the easiest and most common method.
Enable NDI in WASP3D
From WASP3D On-Air/Playout, output your graphics as an NDI source.
Make sure WASP3D and OBS are on the same network.
Install OBS-NDI Plugin
Download & install the OBS-NDI plugin (required for OBS to detect NDI feeds).
Add NDI Source in OBS
In OBS → Sources → Add → NDI Source.
Select the WASP3D feed from the dropdown.
Overlay on Camera Feed
Place the NDI input on top of your video layer.
OBS respects alpha (transparency), so lower-thirds, tickers, logos, etc., will appear cleanly.
Used in professional broadcast setups.
Output Fill + Key from WASP3D (requires DeckLink / AJA cards).
In OBS, capture the DeckLink input for Fill and Key.
Configure chroma/luma keying in OBS to merge the transparency.
(This requires more hardware, mainly for SDI workflows.)

If you’re streaming online (YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, etc.), NDI + OBS is the smoothest workflow. No extra hardware is needed, and it’s real-time with transparency preserved.
